Regardless how can a person make a feasible threat where the consequences happen when they're dying lol
i'm assuming you mean that the hostage taker is shot in the chest and is threatening to shoot the hostage as he falls down
that's not
much of a threat

He's saying once you have killed him(Which means he's DEAD) , he's going to kill the hostage.
Which makes no sense.
I recommend changing the line to "I'll kill the hostage if you shoot"
