How does a Mini Empires server work?

You basically build a Mini Empire, role play and try to take over others. There are Mini Empire evolution witch basically means the same thing expect you evolve to different era's. That good enough?

To summarize this, it is a free build but with a touch of roleplay

The most common is the RP Mini Empires. Basically people build from tribes/lowest rank era in the server and "evolve". It's hard to control though.
