Can be damaged? Yes.
Can be placed near players? Yes.
Half Health spawn? Probably a good idea
Also, could you make it so it can be moved by other players/the other team? What about when you place a new one, the old one explodes?

Anyone on your team-yes.
It can be destroyed.
The item will be removed on death.
And yes, I guess it could look like a battlefield version, I guess.
Do what you want with it.

You mean the thing that Recon class in BF3 put to spawn himself in a specific place?
If you mean that is already done in Modern weapon pack (In RTB)
