Gunpoint - a game about stealth and clever wiring

A new indie game came out today. It's called Gunpoint. There is a demo on steam. TotalBiscuit has played it, if you wish to see what it's about.
Anyway it's fun as forget and the developer needs our support so he can make game development. This is the result of 3 years of hard labor, so I urge you to try out the demo.

Does this game run absolutely terribly for anyone else? I can play for like 30 seconds without it slowing down to the point of it taking 15 seconds to get up/down a stairwell. I have to restart just to get it at the rate it should be going again.

I saw that it finally released today. I made a topic about it like 6-8 months ago or so and it got a bit of hype.
