Well, I'm not saying this in a religious perspective, but the bible's contextual definition of fear as in "to fear God" meant respectful of and acknowledging the authority of, and willing to adhere to rules because it would be far more rewarding to follow them than to disobey (in this case, the consequences of getting banned).
I would say that I do fear Badspot in the biblical context of the word. He does have absolute control over the members of the community, but he has no double standard for members and tends to stay out of user-to-user interaction. He is someone to respect and acknowledge, and he only involves himself when he needs to.
