Oh God I'm Old
L:
Coming back after some sort of ambiguous hiatus a year ago, I had someone join my server and a short conversation along these lines ensued:
--- Quote ---"You're pretty good at building."
"Thanks."
"You type pretty well, too."
"I guess so."
"How old are you?"
"17."
"Woah, a little old for Blockland, don't you think?"
"..."
--- End quote ---
That pretty much killed my urge to play Blockland on the spot. For some reason. Just like legos, Blockland seems to be one of those age-ambiguous games that attracts primarily younger kids, yet can still be insanely fun to play for all ages, as long as you ignore the fact that you kind of look like a senile old person playing in a ball pit full of toddlers.
Anyways, how old are you, and more importantly, what do you think is the primary age range of the Blockland community? And, do you give a stuff?
Judging from some of the "oh now you've done it im telling the admin on you" arguments I've broken up on some of my servers, it definitely seems like the majority is... lower than middle-school range. At most.

I don't know why kids say "ogm ur too old for bl!!" cause I know people older, but don't get your mind confused my them.
Conservative:
I never really thought of it that way but I am also 17; and find myself screaming internally at the stupidity of some of the users on the game, same with the server choices.
I don't feel like I'll be leaving any time soon tho.
Conan:
ok the person who said that is jumping to conclusions
my guess is the actual ages range from 10-18, with about 30-40% in the 11-14 range. I myself am sixteen and don't feel that anyone can be too old for this game
honestly its like saying legos are only for little kids
yeah sure its a toy that little kids play with but it doesn't mean we can't go hardcore and complex with it
oh yeah, do a poll.

Furling played Blockland and he was like 40.
17 isn't that old. If you can play Minecraft at 17, you can play Blockland.
