The Animal Crossing Megathread - Rest in Peace

I bought a 3DS on release because at the time there was the slightest hint of a new Animal Crossing for it. Sounds like it was the same for a lot of people.

i bought mine because walmart decided to drop the price of the system a day early, which allowed me to receive the ambassador games at the new price
at the time the only worthwhile game was Ocarina of Time 3D, if i recall correctly. otherwise, i probably would have waited much longer for the larger library of games that came out later
also, i think that the town size is much smaller in this game than in previous titles. if it isn't, for some reason it certainly feels like

It feels smaller because you're taller and the beach is seperated by a cliff as opposed to the other games not including wild world where the town is cut in two halfs by a cliff
