So I've been browsing the Internet and I came across videos of this game called "The Better Mod" that looks like a beta version of Blockland. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfpXYTYs7Po

It also has a website that mentions Blockland directly. http://www.theorangeblock.org/

So was this just the Alpha version of Blockland or something else?

It was a mod of the beta of blockland.

It's a mod of Blockland, like what she said, but it's really old and glitchy, but some people still on it, but it's not active.
