oh my god yes. ruse was fun in a challenging kind of way, but not great. rise of nations was pretty good too

I originally got it in a box at an actual store, but lost the disc, it sucked cause I had the key and everything.
Then I got it on Steam. It's about $15 I think.
Get forged alliance, the only differences from that and the original is FA has a different campaign, but more maps and a new faction.
