there is a difference between paying 20 bucks or less, vs 100+ for a program. dont dismiss something just because it costs money. not everything thats free can be as good. |

i use google sketchup to model, and then i import them into blender and do the rest there |

Google Sketchup is extremely easy to use. It's a perfect program to start out with if you're a beginner. You'll need milkshape or blender to import objects to though. |

Blender is pretty great, it might be a little too advanced for beginners but you'll get the hang of it eventually |
