If you were trying to lose weight, how many calories would you recommend eating per day/what to eat? (For a person that gains weight easily but loses it with difficulty)
Also, would it hurt if you lost over 2-3 pounds a week?
you'd need to first work out what you're already eating, and then start slashing that by an order of 10% every so often

I dont like eggs and I'm a vegetarian :/
lol, you're gonna have a problem then.

i doubt you're having any more difficulty than i was having, it literally took me years to get myself to a level where i could gain weight

take the emphasis off lifting, and put it on eating. i have much less intense gym sessions than i used to, but i sit down and eat as if i'm lifting. there's literally no point lifting until you can gain weight through eating alone; in fact, it'll be completely counter productive to what you're doing to do.
it depends on where you are i guess. supplementing my diet with protein powder is cheaper than eating a bunch of eggs (and more convenient). that's not something i'm just claiming either, per gram of protein, the powder is cheaper for me.

But I wanna be otter mode. I just want to be like 195 5% BF. Right now I'm 164 and like 12% BF. So I really want the weight to come on gradual and mostly muscle I'm not like in a rush to bulk up my fat and get 240 so I can bench 400. I lift primarily for aesthetics. I definitely need to put 100x the effort into my diet if I want results though you're right about that.

as a female you're not going to gain bulk muscle anyway, unless you start supplementing your testosterone

Nah but seriously, if you're really serious about gaining weight, you're going to have a hard time substituting those proteins from meat. Even protein powder comes from an animalic source, so you can't have any if you're strict about your vegetarianism. Do you eat fish? Fish is probably the best thing you could eat, because of the Omega fatty acids. If you're not eating fish either, you have to eat beans. Lots and lots of beans.

besides you can just supplement your testosterone, but at your age that's going to forget your hormones up something nasty.

I eat lots of soy
I have a feeling youre not a aware of the wide variety of non-animal based food that contains protein.
