But I wanna be otter mode. I just want to be like 195 5% BF. Right now I'm 164 and like 12% BF. So I really want the weight to come on gradual and mostly muscle I'm not like in a rush to bulk up my fat and get 240 so I can bench 400. I lift primarily for aesthetics. I definitely need to put 100x the effort into my diet if I want results though you're right about that.
make those decisions after you've got the weight gaining aspect down-pat. you know how crazy your metabolism is, you're not going to go gaining huge amounts of fat anyway.
when i was having that issue, i literally stopped lifting all together, and just focused on eating. i would dedicate my ex-gym time to finding new and more convenient ways of getting all the calories i needed.
so theres nothing i can do?

besides you can just supplement your testosterone, but at your age that's going to forget your hormones up something nasty.
