It doesn't matter if you made the coolest weapon pack or the most interesting and fun scripts, all in all you released something for free and out to the public, it is seen that you yourself are gifting the community with your works, and for that they should respect you- but let's not go far with this. We'll use Bushido for example, he made a weapon pack that pretty much changed Blockland and it's guns and gameplay. Sure we've been very nice to him, but this should only go so far. You shouldn't kiss his ass every time you see him and do everything in your urge to be noticed by him. The creator should only be glad of what they created and that a person is using their add-on and it is actually being used on another person's server. In this case donations fall straight into place- if you really love the guy that much you can do him little by giving a little bit of cash in order to push them forward or entertain them with whatever. But that doesn't mean they should be loaded with money to the point where the use it as a source of easy income and rarely do anything and ignore everything/everyone. As for Kaje, he was the first and did create some of the best weapons and vehicles but he is no longer around and who knows what he would do with his work today. There's absolutely no reason to push him above others as well. To top it off, Filipe has made good vehicles and yes he is someone you could praise to an extent, but if he really wanted to stand out among all the creators he would try everything in the book meaning guns, planes, tanks, trucks, etc. |
