The worst part is landing though, I'm sure other plane riders will agree with me. Also, make sure to bring gum. It somehow helps with the stuff that happens to your ears while flying.

i've flown in a plane a few times, back when i was young enough to barely remember it and then like two years ago when i went to san fransisco. i also got to be a co-pilot once at an EAA thing a few years back in wisconsin (i only got to fly the plane for a few minutes, it was mostly just the pilot talking about planes and such)

They have gotten a lot better with pressurization over the years. During any flights I have been on recently I have not had to worry about my ears.

i didn't have a problem with my ears when i flew to san fransisco, so i don't think there would be too much to worry about unless you have really sensitive ears or something
