Author Topic: My cat is sick.  (Read 3780 times)

Ok, what the forget did I do to this topic.
you didn't do anything lol

That was the cruelest thing I have ever seen you say.

I completely disagree.

No matter how you slice it, a life is a life. It doesn't matter whether human, dog, cat, whathaveyou.  If you love him/her, you should protect it and keep it with you.

It must be devastating for a pet owner to not be able to pay for a vet bill and protect their pet, and I feel terrible for them.

Shame on you, Elecro. You really need to stop it with the stupid posts where you clearly don't know what you are talking about, especially this.

Stupid post? Don't know what I'm talking about? I'll have you know I'VE been in this situation before. 2 of my pet rabbits had some kind of flu and I begged my mom to take them to the vet. She said "no" because we were late on our rent and we hardly had any extra money. I learned that pets are just animals and humans are the most important.

Just for a full check-up to make sure they have any types of diseases or some bullstuff is 200-300. On top of that they tell you things like "we still need to check more stuff" and charge you even more to scam you out of money.

humans are most important to humans
we aren't important to the planet itself

Ok so I suppose animals will plant forests and other plants to help the earth.

well they certainly won't be cutting down masses of trees

did you know? some types of insects and animals help spreads the seeds of plants to other places and if that seed doesn't get eaten then it'll grow into a plant
cool, huh?

stop talking to me like i'm a loving moron, i know this stuff.

so why did you say

As blunt as he was, Elecro is right about one thing. If you take your cat to the vet, they'll most likely say "Something is wrong with your cat", bill you and then charge you extra if you want them to do anything about it.

I know because I've had to take a sick pet to the vet before.

so why did you say

animals don't have human characteristics.

animals don't have human characteristics.
but humans ARE animals

animals don't have human characteristics.
then why even compare their usefulness to humans if you're just going to disregard everything they do with "animals don't have human characteristics"?
and yeah, as doughboy said, humans are classified as animals iirc

stop talking to me like i'm a loving moron, i know this stuff.
except most of the time you don't actually know what you're talking about
rather than being polite about it would you rather me be an ass?

I see non-sentient life as having no notable 'intrinsic value' (idk what better term to use), but that doesn't mean they can't have emotional or personal value to humans.

Hope your cat gets better.

Animal life and plant life have MASSIVE intrinsic value. You should find a different term.
