SWAT One:

The Torque 3D license does require you to send them a cut, I believe.  It's interesting, since it's both its own engine, and technically the Garage Games logo needs to be displayed by the same agreement.  It's in the files, but just not displayed.

Why not instead, buy a key.

I'm fairly sure any royalties he paid for the license is now gone seeing as Torque went open source, thus explaining why he does sales more willingly now.

Buy a key, that way he makes money and you get something in return.
