Having worked with Hammer all day, hopefully Source 2 is being announced with L4D3 or HL3.

My friend actually theorized something the other day.

Gold Source = HL1

Source = HL2

Source 2 = HL3

I hope both of these are true

The long wait period makes me think that they took alot of time developing source 2 for half life.

I mean portal 2 took a while and had a bunch of new features too.

Valve's also holding The International in august, along with attending gamescom apparently.  Dota 2 comes out before TI3, so something's probably going down, especially with Source 2 apparently finished. (also look at the Source 2013 release, documentation refers to it as "Source 1")
