Do you live in an open area? You could have neighbors practicing their aim out in the woods or their yard or something. I sometimes do that. I generally warn my neighbors first so they don't think someone is getting murdered. Lmfao

fireworks are way louder then gun shots.
people play to many video games and watch way to many movies to really seem to know what a gun shot actually sounds like lol. they arent as dramatic and loud as you think.

Finally someone who understands. Also Nick, most gun owners are smart enough to not fire in a neighborhood. Those who use them irresponsibly are either are young and weren't taught proper firearm safety, or they broke the law and they illegally have one on them.
