What would be a good setting for a roleplay?

This has a plot. It's like saying an apocalyspe movie isn't good because there was already one, ignoring the plot.

How about an actual good war RP? No, I'm not talking about using Sirrus' military base and just have training 24/7, I'm talking about being in the front lines, fighting the war. There could be player controlled allies and axis, or just being on one side with bots shooting from across the battlefield.
