Uhh, yes they did. There were rumors of Russian pilots in the Mig planes, that were supplied to the Koreans and Vietnamese back then.
Also, did you just paint the sand white in Afghanistan? I think what you should do with the game is an attackers/defenders type of thing. That way it is like the US is ambushing the Russians.
