I would use this and then maybe resize the player so it looks more flat. |

Anyway, I think 2D cameras should work a lot like they do in games like the Paper Mario series, most notably the first and second of the games (4th is pretty similar too I guess, minor changes). decent gameplay video I found Just skip around to whenever Mario is just walking around and you'll see what I mean. |
