What's the most useful brick in the game to you?

cubes
bricks aligned with the 2x2 grid (2x2, 2x4, 2x8, 4x4, 4x6, 4x8, 8x8, 8x16, etc)
plates aligned with the 2x2 grid (see above)
1x# plates
if I had to choose one, 4x4 cube.
