Am I the only one that thinks the Legend of Zelda series is overrated?

Kimon:
People go around talking about how the Legend of Zelda is the best game series ever and Ocarina of time was a 10/10 masterpiece, and I just can't see why. The only games I could actually enjoy were the original and Majora's Mask, and I lost the motivation to play them not even halfway through the game. I sold Skyward sword after playing it maybe once or twice and I just don't understand the praise. The games are repetitive and just have no motivation, I can never play them without just giving up and forgetting about it. Honestly, I regret buying so many of the games, with Minish cap being an exception because I played it as a kid when I didn't care about how good video games were.

What do you guys think of the series?
Linkusofepica:
I like it, but I think most of the games are overrated. Specifically Ocarina of Time, Skyward Sword, The Oracle Games, and Link to The Past.
Yosher:
not the only one
Kimono:
honestly OoT was one of the worst games ive ever played because it doesnt point you in the right direction enough

"go here"

well where the forget is here? thanks for giving me a 10x10 pixel square on a loving 15x15 pixel map starfish

"if you dont get this item in this /very specifically hidden place that i wont tell you about/ you have to pay 500 rupees to get the item 2 minutes later"

quite annoying.

Spirit Tracks/That other one i forgot the name of was pretty good actually because it had a functioning minimap and actually told you where to go.

+ OoT controls are stuff

yes I know that this was during the era of "video games are supposed to be hard" but OoT is not hard. its just repetitive.
Regulith:
Every game can't please every person

You are never the only one

But there's nothing repetitive about "going here"
