Steam Summer Sale 2013 Not-Begging After-Party Thread

Not the best summer sale this year. Hopefully we get to keep our summer sale cards so that we can sell them in the future.

I don't think there's an official response to this but a lot of people are quite certain that the summer cards won't just vanish at the end of the sale. Why would they? People have spent money on those. Steam wouldn't do that. They will stop dropping though, that is almost a certainty.

Also Torchlight II, SimCity 4, L4D2, Bioshock: Infinite, FTL, GTA IV, Super Meat Boy, Skyrim, etc, etc. repeat ad infinitum.

People on Reddit think that demand of the cards will dwindle so the value might not go up by a whole lot.

Also seeing all the shooters go on sale made me realize the lack of strategy games and traditional rpgs like fallout and Baldur's gate. Apparently shooters are what sell these in order to make money, damn call of duty generation.
