Somebody approached me, which pulled me back into reality. I couldn't hear him very well, but his mouth movements and the way he randomly came up to me gave me an idea. "Cigarettes? No, I don't have any."
"Oh."
Jeffry just stood there. He motioned to the guy with his thumb roostered like a trigger and his finger a barrel.
"We should, uh, get out of here."
He then whispered, "stuff's about to go down."

"Gentlemen, ladies, we've found our men, and they're in deep." the Commander says, lowering his binoculars and giving an un-aided survey of the park.  "There are four humvees, one gunner in each.  They don't expect an assault, not yet.  Lee, I want your sights pinned to those gunners, marksmen, I want you to take out the executioners.  Everyone take shots on my word.  Slimmer, Farkson, stay behind and spot for the marksmen.  I will keep contact via radio.  The rest of you, I want you to come with me.  We're going to move in once the gunners are down and secure the HVTs.  Is that clear?"
"Yea, I got it, I mean, uh, Yes sir!"
I take out my bolt-action rifle, and I put my sights on the Humvee gunner. I pull my bolt back, and I take out a couple of shells. I load them in, one by one. I then push my bolt back in and prepare to shoot.

"Oh."

"How in the hell do you know?"

nope, block is a police officer, you're all military.
what
oh
uh
well technically we're kind-of the police, just larger and more equipped i'm guessing

unless all we do is just "KILL KILL KILL" as the military and do nothing at all but that then yeah i'm probably going to rethink that

okay whatever
assuming Niff follows his orders:

"Good -- let's roll out.  On me," the commander says, lifting a hand and beckoning his small force toward him.  He walks toward the roof access door, opens it, and descends the flight of stairs.  People give them strange looks as they pass, although some smile, giving them grateful nods.  Once street level, the commander peeked out of the doorway, checking the streets.  It seemed that most everyone was at the park or heading to it, as the only people in sight were those at the park.  He looked back at his team, "Weapons, check." he says.  Everyone behind him began checking themselves, flipping safety switches off and making sure rounds were chambered. "One, check."
"Two, check."
"Three ready."
"Four, check...."  this continued all the way to eleven.
"Systems, check..."  again, the soldiers behind the commander each gave their go-aheads.  The commander nodded, and wiped sweat from his brow.  He pulled his beanie down to cover his forehead and lifted the shemagh over his nose.  He then reached for his walkie talkie which clipped to the shoulder strap on his plate carrier,  "Ground team is ready, weapons free," he said after holding in the button on the side.

"A scope glint. A scope glint, alright, WHY didn't you tell anyone SOONER?!"

The Marksmen open fire, taking out the executioners. People begin to scream, and the crowd begins to scatter.

The Marksmen open fire, taking out the executioners. People begin to scream, and the crowd begins to scatter.
I immediately shoot at the gunners. I fire at the one I had my sights on, then I quickly pull my bolt back and aim at the other one. I fire again.

As the shots are fired, the commander signals his team, and rushes through the doorway toward the park, weapon raised.  People scream and shout, running past the team and steering clear of them, although they are close enough that the UPSG can't get a clear shot at them without civilian casualty.

After a while, shots rang in the air, I immediately ended up running behind the stage for cover. "Somebody get all the civilians out of here! I can barely see where the shots are coming from!"

"OKAY, I BELIEVE YOU." I shout to the man before fleeing towards the humvees I spotted earlier. No way I was running with the crowd into the enemies in this situation. Upon reaching the humvee, I pull the trunk open and hopped inside before pulling it closed. There are two ways this can end, I blow up and die quick and painlessly, or I wait until the violence stops before scurrying away to make my escape.

I run up to the humvee and yank the man out.
"They'll loving tear you up if the Feds find you in here!"
I pull him, practically drag him, to a hopefully safe spot in a depression behind a stone wall.

I look around at the situation then look back, and I see two men at one of the humvees, I immediately get up and start jogging towards them, raising my weapon "You two! Stop!" I flick off the safety.

I stand still as the other man regains his posture. I put my hands behind my head and close my eyes.
"Yes sir?" I say with a quavering voice.
