So I got RDR the other day and I have almost completed the main story and I already know the end. My question is why did Edgar Ross and friends kill John Marston? People say it was because he was in the gang. I feel like they could make a whole new game based on John Marston knowing he was goin to be killed by the Army. What do you guys think?

"The last enemy that shall be destroyed"
Ross used John to clear the band of criminals, rather than doing it himself. He had probably planned to kill them all, including John. The mission name probably refers to Ross's enemy, not John's.

RDR multiplayer isn't what it used to be. Now it's just free roam trolls hunting you down and throwing dynamite at you.
