Who wants to talk about modded saves for Xbox or PS3??

Night Fox:

so recently I've gotten totally into this
I mean I have completed games like Skyrim and Oblivion and Fallout 3 and New Vegas and now that we have satellite internet I gotta go back and play singleplayer games again
so to add some fun I was like "heh ok let's download a modded save"
and I did
and it's a lotta fun
so far I've done it with GTA IV (wasn't worth it tho), Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout 3, and New Vegas (definitely the coolest one)

also idc if people do it to get achievements and stuff. like w/e that's your thing. if you wanna do that go ahead, it's not like your achievements give you an unfair advantage in online games. but personally I'd rather get them the real way

sir dooble:

I played a modded copy of Skyrim, where I was some Khajiit/Greybeard character.

Basically it just happened to have 100 in all skills and all perks, and had access to every single spell and shout in the game, including ones that the player can't normally get, such as the spells for that Spriggan Bee-firing thing.

It was pretty interesting, but I only played it a little bit out of curiosity.
A lot of the spells and things would crash the game though.

Night Fox:

the skyrim one that I had only had normal spells, and shouts. not even the DLC ones :c
and every location was "found." except the DLC ones :c
and every skill was 1000 and it had all perks. I'm not sure why 1000. seems like overkill bc as far as I can tell there's no difference between 100 and 1000
and he has like 50,000 health, stamina, and magicka. which also seems like overkill since you can't lose any of it anyway
but there's a couple of rings and a necklace with really special enchantments. one of the rings makes every school of magic like 1000x or so more powerful or something, that one's really useful because it makes the expert destruction spells do like 1,000 damage. the necklace makes smithing and improving stuff crazy high. and the last one just makes you invisible
and one of the rooms in helgen has containers with every item in the game

the oblivion one just had a couple of special pieces of clothing, and you spawned in the testing hall so you can get whatever

both of the fallout ones are mostly the same. you start in a room with every item (the fallout 3 one actually had all the DLC stuff, which was cool), and you have "infinite" AP, health, and there are really high stocks of ammo and stimpaks etc

Bisjac:

so its just cheating? how boring

combat in these games is boring
so I'm avoiding that

also there is much fun to be had playing around with the experimental MIRV and tons of mininukes
