why are most big projects usually passworded?

Bravo:
When I was working on Swords of The North, I passworded it because there was a ton of secrets in the map that I didn't want people to find. If someone joins with jets and memorizes the whole map, it's sort of an unfair advantage over others when it's released.
Conan:
also spam

when big projects are made builders aren't always going to build on baseplates for duplication which makes clearing spam really annoying
quadilious:
i just host my stuff publicly
only problem is some cleanup
.:FancyPants:.:
people should just play singleplayer, what is even the point of using up bandwidth on a server if you're just going to let no one join
