[*]directx-loving-11 [*]likely 64-bit [*]likely to have enhancements unique to PC version to take advantage over console hardware [*]rumored to come March 12th even better: if GTA5 does come on PC, it will likely use steam only considering Rockstar has been using Steam for a long time now incl. for GTA4, and GFWL is out of the picture essentially. --- End quote --- I doubt March 12th is the exact date. That's pretty close, and they haven't even announced the PC version yet. I have no doubts there will be a PC version, but I can see it coming out in March or May. Things to consider: GTA IV's PC performance improved over time with some patches. It was their first port/game with the Rockstar Advanced Game Engine on the PC. Max Payne 3 was separately developed for consoles and PC, and the developers made a great PC version. They now have a better idea of the RAGE working on PCs. Rockstar would definitely not want to make another awful port after all the backlash and bad publicity they got with IV's port. I can't wait for it to come out. I'll gladly buy it again, maybe even get the Special Edition again - for the PC. |
