I know, but coming from an Indie perspective, it always makes me feel ill when people treat games like a business and then make huge amounts of money from it, even when part of their consumer-base gets the short end of the stick.
I have no doubt that the port will be very much worth the wait, but I just wish we had total opacity with Rockstar/Take Two instead of receiving the ridiculous PR statement we got, which only makes me feel as if Rockstar really believes PC gamers are all pirates and is simply looking to get the bulk of its sales out of the way before the "pirates have at it".

this is the case in every industry. it isn't really the bigger companies' faults though. customers will choose the better product. if there's anyone to blame for independent developers not making enough money, it's the developers themselves. if they were offering something better, people would buy it
