People don't usually make this claim when a game is being created to begin with. --- End quote --- Well, the leaked logs that were extracted from the game disc and also taken from Rockstar suggest the game has been in development as long as the other versions, and the updates on SteamDB are rare and they aren't having a lot of people playtesting the game. That suggests to me the game isn't being actively worked on because it's done. Furthermore, why would they say the game needs "further enhancements and polish" a week after saying it wouldn't be delayed, and only with a single comment by a Rockstar PR person in the comment section of the new trailer? If the game really needed even more time, surely they would have made a bigger deal and apologised in its own news post? It smells fishy. |

Most good PR companies "apologise" for the most ridiculous inconveniences. EDIT: I think it's quite clear that Rockstar believe they aren't going to succeed on the PC except with the most dedicated fans of the franchise and not the platform, so they're really not bothering any more because they know they'll get just a few sales and that's all they want. People like CD Projekt Red and 2K Games have much better reputations on PC and they're not going to content with that. |

would you rather have a stufftily optimized PC version, like GTA IV? or would you like it to be polished and actually playable? seriously dude, 2 months isn't even that long. if it bothers you that much, get a PS4 or something. it's probably done, yeah, but I'm fairly certain they're working on making it the best possible PC experience, and they're delaying it just to make sure it's going to be perfect. remember how GTA was delayed at first? then it got released and it won game of the year, right? yeah. just be patient. |
