That answers your own loving question.
2 months is nowhere near enough time to fix whatever state GTA IV was in, and it's nowhere near enough time for any significant work to be done on the PC version, considering they're still "working" on GTA Online and supposedly some DLC.
I cannot fathom why you're buying into what is supposed to be an excuse so that Rockstar and conveniently hold off on the PC version and sell out the next gen version. After watching Rockstar burn GTA IV's PC version, not release Red Dead Redemption on PC, completely destroy Team Bondi (one of Australia's only AAA studios) and so on, so forth, I have very little confidence in anything that Rockstar do these days. I'm a critic. If it comes out that the PC version is the most incredible game ever, then I will eat my words, but right now based on their history, I'm not getting my hopes up.
