Why not? It's the only way I can get flat-shading to show up.
I export EVERYTHING with a LOD of 2.

Flatshading tutorial in Milkshape

1. Ctrl A
2. Vertex -> Unweld

That doesn't export. I can flatshade it that way (and I already knew that), but if I don't even the LOD out across all shapes the model wont show up.
So far, the only LOD setting that I can use that exports the model correctly is 2.

Hmm
I've kept my model LODs at 0 and they show up fine. Maybe its your export settings?

Well, what does leveling the LOD to 2 actually do?
