So I'm looking for a good ambient horror game, one that's creepy and unsettling but not full of tons and tons of jumpscares. A more slow-paced sort of horror, possibly some bit of "what the hell happened here" discovery. Any recommendations? Games I've tried: Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Was too hard to the point I ragequit on the first monster. Game mechanics were frustrating. I almost want to buy it and go in with some hacks or something and remove most or all of the monsters so I can just witness the ambience. |

One I can no longer find anymore, the other was a poorly drawn pile of stuff. Playing anyway. EDIT: After watching a piece of a youtube video, I am not playing this. loving JUMPSCARES. Jumpscares EVERYWHERE. Too many jumpscares. |
