Why do people hate camping? (Defensively and Effectively)

Pages: << < (11/12) > >>

Ceist:

when helicopters and jets and tanks and people with C4 and AT mines camp the spawn of one team.

Madmitten:

you know what happens when no one camps?

the M-COM is armed and half the loving enemy team is posted around it
therefore we all loving lose because no one "camps," AKA defending the objective.

However the only time camping is cheap and richardish is when they are sitting at our spawn sniping/C4'ing us.

But during something like conquest, i hate seeing people laying prone in some dark corner and not trying to keep the flag from being contested

My solution to camping is something called not being a handicap running in the same direction

Bisjac:

camping is ok for games that have like objectives and stuff.

if its just hunting each other down for kill points, then you are a friend for camping. certain games and maps are designed to have people moving around.

Operator¹:

I hate it whenever the entire defending team rushes up against the attackers and don't defend the objectives

Donro98:

Guys, defending and camping are completely different. Defending is completely fine. Sitting in a corner is not (unless you are defending an obj, because that is defending, not camping.)
