| Why do people hate camping? (Defensively and Effectively) |

It's all the damn mosquitoes everywhere and the fact that when it rains the ground gets all muddy and water starts seeping into your tent. The people who complain about camping are the ones who suck at flanking. When I use to play Call of Duty I would charge sniper camps and flush them out with grenades and then kill the rest with my m60 machine gun. Only to get killed by some guy with a submachine gun. |

It's a legitimate tactic to win. But it also depends on what game your playing too. Camping in more "arcade style" games, if you will, like CoD is usually a richard move but I don't see a problem if you are defend and objective. In Battlefield's Rush or Conquest modes or Planetside 2, if your bitching about camping, especially when you're the one who's assaulting something then your pretty much handicapped because that is the most effective way to hold an objective. |
