I really think loosing maps wasn't worth shaders. But that really is just my opinion, I am depressed about loosing maps but at least I don't make tons of topics about it :I

The game was more fun for me with maps, to be honest.

I feel like the whole shaders situation was a decision between poorly optimized shaders that look pretty or a quality game that looks slightly bad (graphically).

I still would go with maps if it were up to me. At least until we could have maps and shaders, but with more recent map technology to prevent the ability to update.

But then again,

What updates have we been receiving..? lol.

I ain't gonna complain about it, though. What's done is done; we can't change that.

Altiris:

You're about a year late to the game, you have no right to complain, and if you did there's still no point to complain because its been so long.

don't think of it as a decision between shaders and maps
think of shaders as a little feature to include in the update

Well...I guess I'll have to deal with it. It really sucks, but if better stuff is coming in the future, I'm all up for it.

calm yourself mister, you don't want the ban hammer dropped on you.

on topic:

they were removed because they were filled with glitches and they were completely ugly.

they were nice and all, but you have to learn to move on, if you don't, you're gonna turn into one of those people who makes a forgetton of threads saying "BWING MAPZ BAK!!!!11!1"
