Author Topic: How much is Blockland worth?  (Read 2780 times)

First of all, I am NOT talking about how much a Blockland account should cost.

As a company, how much is Blockland?
Blockland as of today has sold more than 55,000 keys, which should've made badspot about $1,100,000. However, since there were huge sales, the actual money that Badspot has made should be a little less than a million dollar. But is Blockland as a brand really worth 1 million?

Blockland doesn't have stocks out for sale either (being a small indie game and all) so the actual figures are hard to estimate. I wish Badspot would see this post, so he can answer how much he considers his own company is worth. Any previous offers from other companies to buy Blockland can be helpful to show the market value of this game.

It is worth what it's made, maybe a little more.

ten hundred billion dollars.

there's no guarantee it'll make 55k more sales, although i hope it does. according to badspot, the sales rates are fine. also badspot doesnt make $20 from every sale I think.

First of all, Badspot does not have a company himself. I believe he worked in GarageGames and left. (Correct me if I am wrong.)

Also, Lego offered to buy Blockland once.

He's never told us how much but some forumers have estimated $12-16.

Above is correct

he donates it all to some starving children's charity stuff.

I think it should be $10 like gmod, $20 seems a tad steep if you want a lot of new players coming in. Although I guess there's nothing wrong with it's current price
You're dumb. Other games with gmod content cost money too. And you can't survive just on TF2 (dunno if it has the SDK still).
lol ok

So...if I ask Badspot to sell the ownership of this game, how much would he ask for?
