Are We Still Using That Old Engine?

How so? Wouldn't it be possible to convert all of the add-on's we had onto the new engine? Or would they all have to be remade and erased? I think that if they all had to be erased (not saves but add-ons), then it would still be worth it only if we got onto Steam and had a bigger active player amount.

No, because the unity engine is completely different, no more torkscript, no real easy way to get custom things, all scripts have to be compiled (unless badspot creates some script interpreter) etc
