--- Quote from: Zeblote on August 14, 2013, 06:31:59 PM ---No, because the unity engine is completely different, no more torkscript, no real easy way to get custom things, all scripts have to be compiled (unless badspot creates some script interpreter) etc --- End quote --- Would it be possible to have a new eventing system made and designed for the Unity engine? I know a lot of the commands and code would then have to change. Torque is somewhat outdated at this point, and if Blockland moves to a different engine - I think it would make way for us to move forward as a video game in the industry. At some point, any online game should modernize. |

the amount of work it would take to move to a new engine, and for how old blockland already is. it would be easier to just make a brand new game and call it blockland2. |

I think that it would be safe to say that if Blockand2 was ever made, it should just be experimental. |
