Fraps Lagspikes?

A while ago I was able to record with fraps fine at 60 fps, now it just sometimes lagspikes every other 2 seconds or so for about a second, a drop in about 30 fps.
It didn't do this before, what is the problem?
I recorded blockland awhile ago fine, but now it gives me lagspikes, I record garrys mod and those games perfectly.
What do I do?

Does it do this in single player?

I had this problem happen to me.

Unfortunately, it's a hardware issue so clearing your ram will most likely fix the problem.

Also, check how long ago it was. If it was a long time ago, your parts could be getting older and less efficient.

I suggest if the thing above does not work, try some other parts.
