Nevermind that, you can't seem to remember your nickname and it doesn't really matter. You hear a painful moaning and grunting sound. Carefully approaching the sound, you realize Tyler is alive and trying to stand up. What to do?

Kove: Tyler, don't get up yet. I want to make sure you're not wounded too badly.
Tyler: Ugghhh.... alright...
After inspecting his wounds, they seem slightly more severe than yours. His hands have 1^st degree burns, so they're not too bad, although there are some glass cuts. His had seems to have been bashed on the back, probably by the floor. Other than that, there are lots of glass cuts. There's a major cut in his chest and a smaller one on his leg. You're not a medical doctor, however.

don't pull out anything you see and use the dead scientist's shirt/jacket/labcoat to put pressure on his open wounds.

also look around to try to identify the source of the explosion

You try the best you can to use some clothing to fix up his wounds, and it works out fairly well. You let him rest for a bit while you look around for the source of the explosion. You don't find anything remarkable, but Tyler eventually finds the strength to stand up and decides to join you in recalling the events.
