doom doesn't have as many guns or enemies, no online multiplayer, lame sound design, and bland skyboxes- but it can't help it. it was made decades ago, of course it's not going to be as good as stuff now because of progress! i love doom for what it is- a groundbreaker. but i don't want to own a model T either- no air conditioning or radio |

This is what I've noticed with past shooters compared to today Doom/half life: You have to run around and flank the enemy so you don't get shot Halo CE/2: You jump around like you are on the moon to avoid projectiles Cod/most modern shooters: You sit in a corner like a loving pusillanimous individual waiting for your slow as stuff health to recharge. |
