Tom Gunn:

He certainly has problems. And yes at this point there are probably people merely hating on him just to get a rise out of him. But its his fault for letting almost every single comment get under his skin.

Phil would read every hate tweet to the end of time :/

Should people hate Phil? Probably not.
I used to love the guy, do I hate him? No.
Hating takes a lot of energy out of a person.

Do I think what he did on twitter was handicapped? yes.

I sort of agree.
It was handicapped, but not his fault (not that you said if it was his fault or not).

Like I said, it's pretty hard not to let comments get under your skin when there's so many of them. Honestly he probably could have replied to a lot more than he did.

.::Taboo::.:

--- Quote from: Freeze on July 28, 2013, 08:38:46 AM ---well you should as that's a big part of the problem. there would be little to none 'starfish-ish' comments without people being an starfish to him first.

there will always be starfishs. fish needs to learn to accept that and grow up to be the better man by not bothering himself with them.

--- Quote from: Freeze on July 28, 2013, 08:38:46 AM ---so it's okay for all the people sending him hate comments to do that (since like you said you don't care about what provoked him), but when he replies back it's suddenly bad? are you kidding me?

that's right. it's called "maturity" and "professionalism." at the very least, if he was going to respond to be people, he could at least try not to sound like a whiny little kid being bullied on the playground.

like we've already discussed
it's bad that he did it, but it's not completely his fault
it's pretty easy to have an emotional breakdown with entire internet forums, the media and then 50+ tweets a day spouting stuff at you
