I think it only counts if a PLAYER throws it (doesn't matter where) and the timescale is 1.
My friends and I were at this beach build I made and someone was on the light house and I was halfway in the town and it was around 450 ft. It was fun to try and catch it with no jets.

Nope, you used console/events. There should be an exclamation mark, not a period.
