seriously, mexico is basically run by the drug cartels. if stuff wasn't already messed up in the middle east, i'm sure the u.s. would put troops or something into mexico. they have told us they don't want us to intervene, but that means nothing considering the fact people are dying both in the us and mexico, a lot of people are dying because of guns and because of the drugs that are pushed across the border.

it's really terrible, mexico is probably the one place i would never go. i know there are modern places in mexico, but the fact that drugs pretty much run the country persuades me not to ever want to go there.

yeah, i meant to say that along with modern, but the fact that so many people die over there (or worse) because of criminals involved in the drug trade is enough to say that there is a real problem.
