The real problem is that OP has different sense of humor, saw a couple of people joking about Metro, and decided to whine about it on Drama. I didn't find the pictures funny either, but I barely know PurpleMetro. Some of the people who laughed along probably just laughed because it was a distorted picture, which I guess it became a thing.

The OP is blaming everyone for the mess. This thread is a perfect example of someone who has a different sense of humor, and ended up using this to explain why the people involved in a joke are starfishs.
