there's multiple definitions, none are right or wrong...

Except the problem is, in no definition of the word "nostalgia" is there a set time frame that has to pass before anything can be considered nostalgic. It's purely ambiguous.

Nostalgic games for me would definitely be:
MK64
007 Goldeneye
SSB
SSBM
Pokémon Ruby
Super Mario Brothers 1 and 3
Blades of Steel
Double Dragon II
Darkwing Duck
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1 through 3
Adventure Island 2

OT: Halo 1
Star Wars Battlefront 2
Impossible Creatures (Tell me someone else has played this :c)
Putt-Putt Travels Through Time
Sid Meier's Gettysburg (Tell me someone else has played this :c)
Civ 3
Deep Sea, Mall, School and Moon Tycoon game pack (Tell me someone else has played this :c)
Rollercoaster Tycoon 2
Half-Life Source and Deathmatch (For being my first game on steam)
GTA Vice City Stories
D3ATH LORD:
Descent I
Age of Empires I
Grand Prix Circuit - made by Accolade
LHX Attack Chopper - made by EA games
Ignition by virgin interactive or something...

I have a load of others, had a quick go at them again as I was posting, don't know if they count as "nostalgic" considering I still have access to them, but I certainly remember the times when I would play them as a kid.

Sure, they were already old as hell and in the past when I first played them, but I grew up with these games, and so did my dad (or atleast when he was in University, that's how I came about to having them)

If anyone wants these PM me

Also Descent I Multiplayer still exists thanks to a mod that overhauls the game with modern internet protocols (since IPX or whatever it was that original Descent used for communication is dead) and OpenGL support, which allows modern computer compatibility, so we could have like a Blockland forums Descent server if that interests anyone...
