FX bricks invisible behind windows

While I was building something on Aeschylus's server, I put some windows infront of some FX bricks for a generator.
I noticed that FX bricks don't show up behind windows.

Yes. Lord Tony used this to do some pretty cool stuff before.

It has to do with the engine or something. Not fixable on your half.

The shader update broke transparency rendering. You can't fix this.

the shader update broke transparent bricks rendering behind windows?
I'm pretty sure I was using this since ~v9 to make one way windows with one window and 4 or so transparent black blocks in front of it
