I draw by mouse, too. I just use the Curve tool in paint tool sai and go over my hand done sketches.
All you need is sai, a decent scanner, and drawing experience.

im sorry i want to improve my art skills, you cant draw that good with a computer mouse.
the problem is that you say this is pixel art, but it's not. it's art with no anti-aliasing.
this would be pixel art:

i didnt try too hard on it, because its an example. but you get the point.

you have to use the pencil tool and make the drawings small. hence pixel art. then you can rescale if you want.

Sorry to pop in, but that's a lie.
Especially if you're looking at some cheap monoprice tablets.
Even wacom bamboo's (and apparently their intuos pen rebranding, when did that happen lol) are like $70.

quick try to improve on maxx's avatar

You can't see it but I also have a brown backpack.

Sorry to pop in, but that's a lie.
I heard wacom bamboos don't really last that long

Or maybe I have been living two lies. Damn it.

i'll use this.

did you see this post yet
firealpaca > photoshop and sai

i know i talk about firealpaca a lot but it's good so don't yell at me
one of the things i like about it is the correction setting because it helps smooth out your lines - and since i've been using a mouse to draw for the past few months that's something really helpful
it's kind of hard to describe or show but here's one example

red circles are drawn with correction turned off, blue ones are drawn with correction set to 19 (which is the maximum), both were drawn with a mouse

so yeah if you haven't already you should try firealpaca
i mean if you want to make anything really fancy photoshop might be better but firealpaca is good for just regular drawing
