I think that the double standards in society specifically aimed against men and stuff are a more prevalent issue than a goddamn archetype that's been around for centuries. Feminists who want to have equal rights and representation are okay, feminists who want every single important government/business/everything else position to be filled by a woman instead of a man piss me off. |

It's like those backwards-ass stupid "affirmative action plans" that try to stop employers and colleges from discriminating against applicants/employees by forcing them to discriminate in the favor of said group. Equality should mean I get an apple, you get an apple, we both have one apple. Not "I am a man, I get one apple, you are a woman and get two because of how you've been treated in society in the past," or vice versa. Equality means equal, not "biased in favor of a group that at one point was treated in an arguably unfair manner. |
